Ashburn Metro Station

This project is part of the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) Dulles Corridor Metrorail and features four large-scale ceramic enamel artworks, hand-painted on glass, created for two new entrance pavilions at Ashburn Metro Station.

The South Pavilion explores the theme “The Past and the Future”, while the North Pavilion focuses on “Transportation and the “Landscape”.

The artworks incorporate poetry by local poet Kristyn Roberts Marrott, adding a strong sense of place and community connection.
