Frankfurt Pentecostal Church

The design has been built up in layers as a collage in watercolours, the acid etching in the antique glass reveals the different nuances within each layer.
I have chosen warm colours to represent Gods light with a central focus for contemplation.

Beside this central form we can just see a ghostly ladder form as a reference to the spirit rising and descending from heaven to earth. The colours are also derived from the “Pascha Rossa” a customary scattering of rose leaves from the ceiling of the church to recall the miracle of fiery tongues.
